Welcome to the 星空传媒 Communities Awards 2005. This is the fifth year of these awards, although the first under the new name. The name has been changed this year from the 星空传媒 Homes Awards to the 星空传媒 Communities Awards to reflect the rapidly evolving housebuilding environment. Along with the name change we have introduced new categories, such as the Placemaking Award. The new-look awards have already proved extremely popular with the industry, with almost 100 entries received. These were whittled down to a shortlist over the summer and our panel of expert judges had the difficult task of deciding on the winners. Here is their verdict...
