Construction arm of property giant Brookfield rebrands
Contractor Brookfield Multiplex is dropping Brookfield from its name to trade as just Multiplex.
The firm - which is building a raft of major UK schemes, including 22 Bishopsgate, - will remain part of Canada-based property giant Brookfield.
A Brookfield spokesperson said: “This is a time for us to rebrand and to ensure our own unique construction identity both within the Brookfield group and with our external stakeholders as a global construction business.
“Aside from our name and logo changing, it’s business as usual. There are no operational or organisational changes being made.â€
In results for the 2015 calendar year, Multiplex’s UK arm more than doubled revenue to £620m, up from £284m the previous year, while pre-tax profit quadrupled to £21.9m, up from £5.4m.
Multiplex is also building a £150m hospital for sick children in Edinburgh (pictured), .
