Insurance firm Aon to occupy ten floors of £340m City tower

Insurance firm Aon will occupy ten floors of the £340m Cheesegrater tower in the City of London.

British Land confirmed to the market this morning that the US-based insurance company will be the first tenant in the tower.

Aon has agreed to a pre-let of the lower ten floors of the Leadenhall Ðǿմ«Ã½, which total 191,000ft2.

The insurance firm also has the option to take a further 85,000ft2 of office space. Construction of the tower began in 2010 with practical completion scheduled for mid 2014.
