The future has landed: Irwell Valley Housing Association has commissioned Ian Simpson Architects to turn a1960s slab block in Manchester into these 52 flats for sale. The £5.3m redevelopment of Ossington Court will cross-subsidise the development of 20 homes and 16 flats for shared ownership on surrounding land. Irwell Valley will share development profits with Manchester council, the block's previous owner. The remaining tenants are being rehoused and compensated.
