Two of the uk's first strategic partnerships between housing associations have been formed in the hope of improving the delivery of housing services.
Touchstone and Staffordshire housing associations are to work together in Stoke-on-Trent; London-based Acton and Westway housing associations have signed a similar agreement.

Both partnerships include the shared delivery of housing services.

Touchstone tenants in North Staffordshire will now have services delivered under a franchise agreement with Staffordshire Housing Association, for example.

Stewart Fergusson, Touchstone's managing director, said: "Forming a strategic alliance with Staffordshire and creating dedicated bases for our regeneration team close to where we own the majority of our homes means we can get closer to the communities we serve."
