Norbain is centralising its three service centres with the opening of a new dedicated Premier Service Facility in Preston.
The fully air conditioned facility incorporates a purpose-built engineering workshop, and at 6,100 square feet represents a significant increase in overall servicing capacity.

Dermot Grace, managing director of the CCTV and access control distributor, said it would lead directly to improvements in customer service. "Norbain's reputation is built on high customer service, extensive product range and unparalleled technical support.

"Our continuing commitment to these values lies at the heart of this decision," Mr Grace explained.

There will be no changes to telephone numbers for service related customer enquiries.

Norbain has also become a UK distributor for Pelco products such as the Spectra III SE Series dome systems. Mr Grace said: "The inclusion of Pelco within our product portfolio expands customer choice within the UK and considerable extends Pelco's reach within this marketplace.

"This is a win-win agreement for our customers."

The distribution agreement with Pelco is the latest in a series of new partnerships with globally recognised CCTV brands that Norbain has initiated in recent months. Norbain is also the home of big-selling Vista kit.
