IFSEC organisers, CMPi, have acknowledged that while the global risks posed by the deadly SARS virus present a significant concern, it poses "little or no threat" to the exhibitions scheduled to take place in Birmingham
CMPi says the exhibitions can proceed as normal due to the precautions taken by various government departments and health organisations. Concerned visitors should visit or for full reassurance of the risks involved.

IFSEC will highlight the industry's very latest developments including offerings from the following companies:

  • BPT is launching new door entry components and a top of the range Impro access control system on stand K121
  • PI Vision will be on stand F83 to demonstrate the latest developments of its 2nd Eyes Enterprise system
  • German company, Chamberlain, will introduce several products at IFSEC including a new line of LiftMaster piston style linear actuator swing gate operators, line extensions to manual over-ride tubular motors, tubular motors with electronic limits and a new easy-to-program universal receiver. The company will be on stand C99
  • On stand H91, the NSI will be unveiling its exciting new brand
  • Petards Vision is launching its new ANPR system. Advantage.ANPR will be on show on stand L120
  • Quadrox, a leading European manufacturer of digital video surveillance solutions will be on stand R60 in the CCTV village to demonstrate its networked and web-based DVR for IP and analogue cameras
  • Vista will be on stand L110 to show its feature rich Vista PowerDome range, which is available in a variety of models including a 6 inch internal and 7 inch external day/night dome. The company is also launching its 2003 Vista Product Guide
  • And at the International Fire Expo, which runs alongside IFSEC, the Fire Extinguishing Trades Association (FETA) will be on stand E111 to launch the findings from its recent survey on the use of portable fire extinguishers.
