ROAD WORKS: Radcliffe Road, Southampton, is among the developments to benefit from a £19.28m Housing Corporation grant to Swaythling Housing Society. Of its 12 flats and 19 houses, three will be for shared ownership and the rest will be general-needs rented. There will be two wheelchair units. The grant has taken Swaythling, a subsidiary of Oriel Housing Group, into the top 10% of more than 200 housing associations to be allocated funds to provide homes for local needs.
