I am carrying out a review of good practice in the commissioning, design, delivery and evaluation of research across the public, private, voluntary and community sectors.

The review, commissioned by the Housing Corporation and other partners, is focusing on user-led and action-based approaches such as the involvement of tenants.

Key issues include stakeholder involvement, diversity, ethics and quality assurance.

If any readers have commissioned research or conducted it in-house and have examples of good practice, lessons learnt or pitfalls to be avoided then I’d like to hear about it.
