Quality of life for residents in two Bradford high-rise estates is set to improve after Southern Electric Contracting was awarded a £1.7 million contract to install a CCTV system covering both estates
The competitive tender contract, awarded to SEC’s Leeds office by Bradford Council and continued by the newly-formed Bradford Community Housing Trust Group, is for a secure concierge lodge at Buchan Towers with more than 100 CCTV cameras over the two high-rise estates near Bradford city centre.

New door entry systems will also be installed to control access into all 16 blocks, providing two-way communication from the concierge lodge to 843 flats across both sites.
