Having already completed the design and installation of a £750,000 traffic management and CCTV system at the Boots Company's Nottingham headquarters, Quadrant Video Systems has now put the finishing touches to a further CCTV surveillance integration scheme at the overtly high-tech site.
The latest scheme supplies remote CCTV integration and control within the building for a previously stand-alone system.
By way of a fibre optic cable link, images from the existing Boots hq building's 26-camera Philips system are transmitted in real time for monitoring at the Site Protection Division's Control Room.
Along with the integrated camera set-up, the Control Room features a mix of integrated systems including a sophisticated Automatic Number Plate Recognition system.
The latter is capable of managing the 10,000 or more vehicles that pass through the site each day.
