Simon Prior headed up firm’s Birmingham office
Stace has paid tribute to the partner who headed up its Birmingham office, who has died following a cycling accident last weekend.
Simon Prior, who was an equity partner in the 240-strong firm, was killed while riding his bike in Worcestershire last Sunday morning (27 July). He was 36.
Managing partner Glyn Crawley said: “It is with deep sadness that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of our fellow partner, colleague and friend, Simon Prior.
“He was an exceptional professional whose dedication, warmth and integrity left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of working with him. Simon was instrumental in the development of the Birmingham office and the team.
“Simon was a devoted husband and parent. His loss is felt by us all.â€
A project manager, Prior joined Stace in 2012 and among the jobs he worked on were schemes for Jaguar Land Rover and BT.
He leaves behind a wife, Rachel, and two young children.
