Latest contract wins with Oxfordshire and Knowsley councils boosts Mouchel Parkman’s order book by £60m.
Support Services Group Mouchel Parkman has increased its order book by at least £60m thanks to contract wins with Oxfordshire County Council and Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council.
The Group was named preferred bidder for a £35m seven-year property services contract with Oxfordshire County Council, which could be extended to ten years. The £2.5m a-year property and highway services contract with Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council is for a ten-year period, and could be extended to 20 years. Both contracts are due to commence on 1 April 2005.
Chief executive Richard Cuthbert said: “We are delighted to have secured these contract which serve to confirm Mouchel Parkman’s position as a leading provider of professional managed services to local government.”
The contracts follow other recent wins totalling £24m. These include a three-year extension of the existing five-year highways consultancy contract with Wokingham District Council; a three-year highways contract (extendable to five) with the London Borough of Richmond; and contracts for an initial five-year period (extendable to 15 years) for highways management and street lighting with Westminster City Council.
