Madeleina Loughrey-Grant was firm’s legal director
Laing O’Rourke’s group legal director is leaving after 10 years at the firm, the company has confirmed.
Madeleina Loughrey-Grant joined the country’s biggest private contractor as legal and tax director at the end of 2015 before being appointed to the group executive committee less than 18 months later.
In a statement, Laing O’Rourke chief executive Cathal O’Rourke said: “After a decade with Laing O’Rourke, Madeleina Loughrey-Grant has made the decision to leave the business to relocate back to Ireland with her family.
“Over the past decade, Madeleina has played a pivotal role in shaping Laing O’Rourke’s legal, sustainability, procurement, leadership, and governance strategies and on behalf of Laing O’Rourke, I express our heartfelt thanks for her care, commitment and dedication to our people, our projects, and our business.”
O’Rourke said her successor would be announced in due course.
Loughrey-Grant arrived at O’Rourke after 11 years at London law firm Farrer & Co and before that she worked at Dublin law firm McCann FitzGerald.
