The National Maritime College of Ireland reached financial close in February. The building, designed by BDP, appointed as architect, structural and services engineer and landscape architect, will be the new training facility for the Cork Institute of Technology and the Irish Naval Service. BDP has placed emphasis on passive means of controlling the internal environment where possible.
