Cardiff University students are enjoying brighter lessons in their new state-of-the-art lecture theatre. Local architect Powell Dobson of Cardiff desired lighting that was integral to the theatre design without causing detractions. With this in mind, Arup selected Concord:marlin's Marlinea for the scheme. The suspended bi-directional luminaire uses high efficiency T5 lamps, giving the added benefit of low energy use. J Honeybun Electrical of Pontypridd was electrical contractor.
