Sheffield City Council last week invited bids to refurbish the city’s grade II-listed Park Hill Flats.

The decision follows a study by architect HTA which concluded that the 1000-unit blocks could be redeveloped rather than demolished.

The council is understood to be seeking a housing association and private developer to lead the project.
