Moat Housing Group has signed an agreement worth £3.5m with Horsham council in Surrey for the development of 33 affordable homes at Blackhorse Way. The project includes a new multi-storey car park and underground parking for the flats as well as a piazza that will incorporate a sculpture, fountain and seating.

The development was designed by Chetwood Associates and will be built by contractor Carillion. It is due to be completed in 2004 and flats will be available for shared ownership, sale and rent.

Three of the homes will be targeted at key workers from the Horsham area.
