The Construction Industry Computing Association (CICA) has launched an IT security website, and will be holding a workshop on the subject at the end of this month.
The Construction Industry IT Security Forum (CITSEC) website features a case study from Arup, the results of an IT security benchmark survey, a straw poll of IT security consultants and a useful directory of IT security links. More case studies and industry commentary will be added later.

The website was developed with the IT Construction Best Practice programme as part of an IT security research project undertaken by CICA and Arup. This is being funded by DTi Partners in Innovation. The website is designed to complement the security section of the UK Online for business' site.

The workshop will take place on 28 May and includes speakers such as Peter Rebbeck of BAA, Steve Connor, director of IT/IS at Carillion and Henrik Kiertzner, associate director of Arup. For more details see www.citsec.com
