This week鈥檚 #buildingdoodle sketch is by Ewen Miller, managing director at Calderpeel Architects. He says: 鈥淭he sketch was an initial design for a bid to attract a hotel operator to invest in a project located on a prime waterside site in Poole, Dorset. The design was for a mixed-use scheme that included a 120-bed hotel with a leisure suite that was based on the first floor overlooking the marina.

鈥淭he scheme was designed about eight years ago and had seen some significant changes since then.鈥�
