New book provides essential information on installation of cables and equipment
The IEE, a registered trademark of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), has published new guidance for electricians.
Guidance Note 1 鈥� Selection and Erection of Equipment enlarges upon and simplifies relevant requirements of BS 7671:2008.
The guidance book includes detailed coverage of external influences and factors affecting the installation of cables and equipment.
It discusses various types of protective devices in easy-to-read text and includes illustrations in full colour.

The book has been updated to align with the 17th edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations and, for the first time, is published in full colour.
