Cracking the cycle: A project to help crack-addicted sex workers has helped 32 women in its first six months.

The project helps women in Lambeth, south London, such as Carol (pictured), who has now given up sex work and plans to be a counsellor to other women.

It is run by charity St Mungo's, Lambeth Crime Prevention Trust and drug users' services the Stockwell Project and Lambeth Substance Misuse Team.

It provides counselling, access to medical facilities, legal advice and preparation for detox and employment.
