Remploy – the UK’s leading promoter of employment for disabled people – has strengthened its position as a provider of CCTV monitoring services to local councils and the police by winning management contracts with three major local authorities.

Preston, Herefordshire and East Dumbartonshire have all recently tasked the company with managing CCTV monitoring for a number of important towns and cities.

In Preston, Remploy is providing and managing a team of five people – all of whom are disabled – who work alongside the police in their Control Room to operate a round-the-clock monitoring service.

In Herefordshire, a new control facility will allow monitoring and recording in Leominster.
