CIRIA has won £1.098 million from the DTI's annual Partners in Innovation (PII) competition for research projects.
It is the largest amount of funding awarded to any organisation under PII this year, and the second consecutive year the organisation has achieved this status.

The 14 CIRIA projects to receive funding range from guidance on site health to risk assessment in climate change, and from ways of using agricultural crops in construction to extending guidance on flood risk.

The Construction Productivity Network has also received government funding for two more years.
