A national housebuilder had just decided to implement an intranet-enabled, paperless site-based communication and procurement system. The highly experienced site manager was unable and unwilling to even open the box containing the laptop that his company provided.

A placement student arrived on site, set up the new system and demonstrated its benefits. These two people, of entirely different abilities soon established a 'dream team'. The student graduated and is now running his own site.
