Buro Happold is to provide the building services to five new primary schools in Ireland.
The Public-Private Partnership (PPP) scheme will be the first of its kind in the country and will see Buro Happold working in conjunction with contractors Jarvis.

鈥淲e have provided sophisticated daylight studies to each of the schools,鈥� explains Susan Cormican of Buro Happold Dublin. 鈥淲orking with the architects, our engineers have helped determine the window size, aspect ratio and head height in order to achieve required daylight factors. Each buildings鈥� natural air flow patterns have also been modelled and the designs also include integrated IT infrastructure.鈥�

The schools are set to open at the end of 2002.
