VANDA MURRAY, CHIEF EXECUTIVE officer of Blick plc, has received the Order of the British Empire from the Prince of Wales at Buckingham Palace, after being awarded the honour in the New Year鈥檚 Honours list in recognition of her services to industry and export.
Having spent her whole career involved in the marketing of business-to-business products and services, Vanda is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. She joined PAC International in 1991 as sales and marketing director, becoming managing director of the company in 1996 after it was acquired by the Blick Group. She was subsequently appointed to the main board of Blick as group sales and marketing director, before taking up her current position.

Vanda said the award was also an acknowledgement of the 鈥渉ard work, innovation and commitment of my colleagues at Blick鈥�.
