Speaking about the decision, ASIS president Bonnie Michelman told SMT: "With the new and increased focus on security issues following last September's terrorist attacks, the need for up-to-the-minute information and resources has never been greater. This latest partnership will be based on the extensive body of knowledge that our two organisations have at their disposal for assisting and implementing relevant and correct security measures."
According to IAPSC president Marc Bradshaw, the joint initiative will enable the "expertise embodied in the membership of both organisations to be made available to key Government and private sector leaders worldwide, all of whom are now facing up to unprecedented security challenges."
