The HVCA has launched an initiative to encourage its members to offer work experience placements to young people. Making the Team is part of the HVCA’s programme to mark its Centenary year in 2004.
President Brian Townsend has written to all members explaining how work experience allows young people to learn what is involved in building services engineering and helps employers to gauge their suitability as recruits.

An information pack is available from the HVCA detailing what work experience entails and the implications, such as insurance, and where students can be placed.
