Adam Wiseberg, BSIA chairman and main board director at CCTV specialist AD Group, has been appointed to the board of Skills for Security.

Wiseberg said: "I am pleased to take up this position as Non-Executive Director with Skills for Security. It ties in with my long term commitment to best practice across the industry. I believe that my extensive business experience, through my role at AD Group, and, crucially, my work on industry standards with the BSIA, will prove invaluable in assisting the board to achieve its aims and objectives."

Maurice Parsons has retired from his position as Secretary of the Association of Security Consultants. He had been in the post since May 1998.

Laurie Doust, a partner with Buckingham Consultancy, has succeeded Parsons in the secretary role at the ASC.
