Easy-peasy panelling
A new range of cross-laminated spruce panels from Construction Resources offers easily assembled elements for walls, ceilings and roofs as well as floors. LenoTec panels are made to order, cut to any dimension and shape up to 4.8m wide, 14.8m long and 51-297mm thick. They can be curved as well as flat, and holes and channels for services can be pre-cut at the factory. LenoPlan panels are supplied in standard sizes for on-site assembly. The large-size panels speed up construction, as they can be craned into position and joined mechanically. Enquiry number 210Cidda, a flexible friend
A faster, cheaper way to fit cast-iron above-ground drainage pipes together comes in the form of Cidda rubber gaskets on cast-iron push-fit joints. The rubber-sealed joints look like traditional lead and yarn couplings, but are easier to fit, repair and replace. For below-ground installations, the push-fit joints are a flexible alternative to coupling and pipe laying. Enquiry number 209Liquid protection
Sealocrete claims its new ‘liquid roof’ Contractopol can be applied in any weather short of a monsoon! A solvent-based coating laced with synthetic fibres, you apply it straight out of the tin for a tough and flexible single-coat membrane. Contractopol has high tensile and pull-off strength and resistance to abrasion. Enquiry number 211Support Celtic ranges

Down on the farm
Eternit has extended its Farmscape profiled fibre cement product, adding a 2900mm long sheet to the original 1525mm and 2440mm lengths. The Farmscape range is designed to help agricultural structures blend into the surrounding countryside by using a surface pigmentation rather than gloss paint. Unlike metal sheets, Farmscape aborbs moisture, which can subsequently dry out rather than condense on the roof’s underside. Enquiry number 214Crowning moment for breathable underlay
Working with water
With rainwater on new builds no longer allowed to flow immediately into sewers, developers have to collect, treat and ideally reuse storm water where it falls. Modular Atlantis cells from Marley Plumbing & Drainage are one way of controlling surface water at source. Light and easy to handle but able to withstand a load of nine tonnes per sq m, 90% of the cells are empty space, reducing on-site excavation. Enquiry number 216Arcadia tiles: brand spanking ‘old’
