The Met Office's new headquarters and operations centre in Exeter will be powered by Zucchini busbar.
The £80 million development scheduled to open in November 2003 covers 31 000 m2. Zucchini's SB medium-power and SC high-power busbar systems will serve two power grids, two IT halls and two supercomputers for total data back-up and 24/7 reliability. Haden Young is m&e contractor for the scheme.
