Newcastle-based Warmseal Windows has been awarded £5,000 after being named the North East’s best medium sized employer for practical learning, and is the only organisation in the window industry to receive the accolade.

Warmseal Windows was awarded the honour after winning the regional heats of the Edge Employer Award; This is an initiative to recognise the best employers in England offering practical learning opportunities to 14-25 year-olds. It is backed by celebrity chef Jamie Oliver and Simon Woodroffe, founder of Yo! Sushi.
