Surveyor who crossed swords with QS faculty officially rubber stamped as leader in waiting of institution
David Tuffin, senior partner at surveyors Tuffin Ferraby Taylor, was officially rubber stamped as RICS president elect today.
Tuffin, who has already courted controversey by claiming that QS members should stop moaing about the institution's record, will become president in July 2007, succeeding Graham Chase of Chase and Partners.
Tuffin said: 'It's a great privilege to take on this role at such an exciting time of business and economic change all over the world. RICS represents a huge diversity of professionals and members from many walks of life."
