Architectonics Systems apprentice Daniel Cowl (pictured), thinks that the lectures at his local college in Gloucestershire are better for him than his experience at university.
‘I enjoyed the university lifestyle, but not the course itself - the lectures were not delivered in a style which suited my way of learning,’ says Daniel, 22. ‘But since I joined Architectonics in Tewkesbury as an apprentice in 2003, I've continued studying at a local college one day a week and in my opinion, the quality of training is excellent and my tutors are great’.
