Since starting to manufacture roofs using the Synseal Global system in December 2004, Tradelink has carefully analysed each sale. The impressive results claimed make some interesting reading.

During 2005, 99.16 per cent of all roofs were delivered complete from Tradelink's facility in March, Cambridgeshire. Not one roof was incorrect in terms of dimensions, with only a couple missing secondary components such as end-caps or gutter parts. When it was identified that these parts were missing, they were all quickly despatched to ensure there was no hold up on site.

According to Tradelink, the true cost of a conservatory roof can easily increase by 50% if the supplier misses a critical part of the roof assembly, often adding a minimum of one day to the installation period.

‘We're very conscious of the hidden costs to the installer when erecting conservatories', says Jim Moody, Tradelink's Managing Director. ‘Site delays due to missing components or inaccurately fabricated parts are costing installers thousands of pounds a year. The processes we have instigated at Tradelink effectively help us to eliminate site delays and we have the figures to prove it'.

Conservatory roofs are part of an expanding product line, which also includes HeatGuard high performance sealed units, and coloured doors.
