Innovation in Construction Materials

This symposium will reflect the growing importance of new and improved materials and their applications in construction.

The creation of this forum recognises that the construction industry is a major user and supplier of materials, accounting for at least one third of all the materials produced in the UK.

The group will provide a new focus for the institute, enabling the materials community to develop and deliver a new programme targeted toward construction materials.

The Materials Congress 2006 is being held in London on 5-7 April 2006. It will be the fifth in a series of major materials conferences organised by the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining.
