Lend Lease's Phil Wade celebrated the near-completion of 1,000 job centre refurbishments at this week's MIPIM

The head of Lend Lease Projects Phil Wade took a well-earned break from the UK-wide rollout programme on the palm-lined lawn outside the London pavillion with Jason Millett, chief executive of Bovis Lend Lease UK.

Bovis has assigned 12 of its own staff to the project for the Department of Work and Pensions and has also drafted in back-up from competitors such as EC Harris and Turner & Townsend.

Meanwhile, in the picture below, Directors at MDA Consulting Steve Jones (sitting on the right) and Rob Kennedy enjoyed lunch on the beach at Cannes earlier this week. This taste of beachside living should prove a useful warm up for the pair's latest new business venture: a project management job in the Caribbean. After wining the work on a £40m resort in the Turks & Caicos Islands MDA is mulling opening an office in the region.
