EC Harris has completed work on three key infrastructure sites in the Swansea SA1 development area.

The project, worth £11m, is located at the Prince of Wales Dock and comprises a site for business, retail, residential and leisure developments. The additional construction of three pedestrian bridges over the river will provide access to the SA1 gateway.

The Sail Bridge spans 140m with a central pier and caters for pedestrian traffic as well as emergency vehicle access. The South Bridge spans 70m and leads onto the Swing Bridge, which is hydraulically operated with the lock gates for Swansea marina. The firm became involved in the project in 2003.
