The Security Industry Training Organisation (SITO) has unveiled details of its 2005 National Conference Programme, with this year’s presentations being delivered under the banner ‘Raising Standards, Transforming Industry’.

Peter Davies – assistant chief constable of Lincolnshire Police and the ACPO lead on the private security industry – is the KeyNote Speaker. His speech will focus on Community Safety Accreditation Schemes, and how the police and private security industry can work together in the years ahead.

Other speakers at the event include Security Industry Authority chief executive John Saunders, The Security Institute’s chairman Bill Wyllie, John McDermott (of the Central Criminal Court), ARC Training’s managing director David Cresswell and Barry Frost (security services manager for the City of Sunderland).
