Eight firms vie for deals to work across broadcaster's property portfolio
The BBC has narrowed the shortlist for its upcoming framework for QSs and project managers to eight firms. Fifteen companies were originally invited to tender for the four-year deal last November.
The shortlisted QSs are: Currie & Brown; Gardiner & Theobald; Northcroft; and Cyril Sweett. Those that failed to make it were Capita Symonds, Davis Langdon and Faithful+Gould.
The shortlisted PMs are: Capita Symonds; Turner & Townsend; Dearle & Henderson; and Hornagold & Hills. Those that failed to make it through were Bovis Lend Lease, Gleeds, Johnson Controls and Mace.
The framework agreements will be awarded to the successful firms from these shortlists in April. The deal covers more than 7.5m sq ft in 140 buildings and includes small and medium-sized projects.
