Multidisciplinary consultant Ridge has acquired Reading based firm Alan Dines Partnership, a 15-strong firm that provides QS-ing architecture and project management.
The deal, struck at the start of the month, will see the founder, Alan Dines, join as a consultant and John Stevenson as associate, both in Ridge’s Reading office. Dines set up the firm in 1986.
Ridge senior partner Phil Jones said of the acquisition: “ADP has a proven track record with a valuable client base that will, in particular, add to our strength in the retail sector and will allow us to pursue various activities in a lively and ever-changing market. The acquisition, which follows the opening of our Leicester office in January, complements the Ridge business and demonstrates our continuing desire to grow as and when the right opportunities arise.â€
Ridge also announced this week that its Reading office had been appointed by Hertz Europe to work on the relocation of the car hire firm’s European headquarters to Uxbridge, Middlesex.
