Reflections: Deputy prime minister John Prescott used his speech on Monday at the Labour Party conference in Bournemouth to reflect on the promises made in his communities plan.

Speaking on Monday, he also announced 1600 new homes to be built by Genesis and Bedfordshire Pilgrims housing associations on 56 publicly owned sites across the South-east.鈥淲hat really matters to ordinary hard working families in rural areas is not fox hunting, it鈥檚 house hunting,鈥� added Prescott.
