Malcolm Greenhalgh, a director of Hi-Secure, said the company had a very successful show with a number of high quality leads. John Lewis, sales manager for Forward Vision, also said it will be securing its location for next year as a result of the quality of leads.
Russell Alderson-Scott, sales manager of Safetynet Solutions, said this year's show had been the best yet with good quality leads and a very helpful marketing team and organisers.
The Security in Excellence seminar theater, which was used to discuss security issues from various end-user angles and current installer issues, proved particularly popular with consistently large crowds gathering for the talks.
Event director, Richard Clarke, said: "Securex 2003 has convincingly reasserted its presence in the UK security event calendar.
"The Security in Context seminar theater proved particularly successful and exceeded all expectations.
"Next year's event will build on this element, combined with a concentration on vertical markets, including the health and education sectors."
Securex ran alongside the facilities management event FM Expo, which also cemented its position as Europe's leading event for the FM market. The show featured a free legal clinic, celebrity speakers and daily personal appearences from international rugby stars on the TNT stand.
