School children who sit at the back of the class no longer have trouble hearing what the teacher says – thanks to installers, Galloway Electronics.

Galloway installed the "voice reinforcement system" at Kilham Primary School near Driffield, East Yorkshire. Teachers speak into a wireless microphone and their voices are amplified at a constant level through speakers in the ceiling.

The East Hull-based company said the Sound Field system, was originally installed to benefit one hard of hearing pupil but was found to benefit all pupils … so much so that a secondary system has been added to the school extension. It is also popular with the children who like to read aloud using the system.

Galloway specialises in CCTV and PA system .
