Project manager Rowney Sharman is scanning the market for an acquisition target or merger partner.
Managing director Stewart Rowney revealed plans to triple the firm鈥檚 turnover in the next two years through organic growth and teaming up with a similar-sized firm.
He is looking for PM with a strong base in the public sector, which would compliment Rowney Sharman鈥檚 private sector expertise.
A 12-year-old limited company, Rowney Sharman鈥檚 turnover is around 拢1.5 鈥 1.7m.
It employs less than 20 staff. Rowney said he wanted turnover to hit 拢4-5m in two years. 鈥淥ur business plan has always been to move with the market. Now that the public sector has woken up to the value of client project management I am sure we could add value to the sector,鈥 he said.
Rowney is currently recruiting four people 鈥 a director, a senior project manager and two PMs.
The firm opened offices in Leeds in January and in the Channel Islands 18 months ago. Rowney said he was seeking to expand out of the South East, where much of the Ascot-based firm鈥檚 work is.
He also wants to do more work in the leisure sector, including hotels, which he sees as a growing area.
