French manufacturer Kalirel has launched a remote controlled central heating system that uses no pipework and can be fitted by anyone.

Each radiator is independently heated via power from a 5-13 Amp wall socket. The manufacturer says three hours of electrical consumption heats the radiator for up to 12 hours.
