Phoenix Composite Doors reports an increase in interest for its advanced-composite door, and especially in black.
While black composite doors can be problematic, Phoenix says that its advanced-composite construction lends itself to the production of a door leaf that won't drop, warp, or de-laminate, whatever the colour. Because of the finishing application on the doors the darker colours such as the greens, blues and more specifically blacks look particularly stunning.
Phoenix Chairman Jivan Patel explains: ‘Because of the advanced construction and paint application on our doors we can produce a deep and rich finished black door that won't fail. We have spent a lot of money in developing this product and judging by the level of interest the investment has been worth every penny.'
The company received a lot of interest from the black door displayed at Glassex, as visitors to the show looked for something new in the industry.
