Pavement art: The Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment has launched a plan to encourage civic art like Milton Keynes' Paparazzi by Steven Gregory.

CABE and cultural quango Art & Business are together putting £500,000 towards the initiative, which will target housing market renewal projects and regeneration schemes. It will use the development framework for rebuilding central Milton Keynes as a case study of good practice.
