Over 70% of ECA members have now registered with a government approved Part P Competent Persons Scheme.
David Pollock, ECA director, said: 鈥淭he high numbers of members registered is very encouraging. It is indicative of their commitment to professionalism and technical competence.鈥�
The ECA, together with BRE Certification (BREC), has developed one such scheme, and the Association has also developed courses to help contractors and local authorities understand the new regulation.
